25 weeks

the a's lost on friday :( - but we still had a good time at the game.  1 day down of baby university.  we saw a video of an actual birth today, yikes!  

anniversary week

2 short years ago...

ryan and i celebrated our anniversary tuesday with babies r us and french food :). that's 2 years married, 8 years together and 6 months along. thanks for the cards and well wishes. we couldn't be happier!

baseball

here we are last friday at lou's favorite pastime. a's won 9-2! they let everyone on the field after to watch the 'pyrotechnics spectacular.'

there has been lots of belly stretching and internal batting practice lately. lou has also taken to hanging out at the front right side of my tummy at nighttime.

becca, ryan and i painted the baby's room yesterday a sandy yellow.

ry is organizing the galileo staff party this weekend, then we have an a's game and 2 days of 'baby university' next weekend, so we'll catch up when we can ;) lots of love!

23 weeks

we were playing around with old photos.  here's a fun pic of us from last year, at don & megan's awesome wedding.
i got my hair cut at 23 weeks.  we had our 5 month appointment today.  lou kicked the entire time, hope that means (s)he likes dr. kim!  everything is measuring/ looking good.  we're off to the a's game tomorrow night.  boo angels!

hey everyone.  ry and i were loving the weather and hopped down to santa cruz for the day.  ry won 2 glasses playing dime toss!  he tried his hand at darts, but after 4 go's decided he was not meant to learn to play a prize ukelele.   nic got scared of the wolfman in the haunted castle, but luckily lou was brave.

22 weeks

four months to go!  lou is a very active baby and we can feel him or her rolling and kicking all day long.  we've started to be able to see and feel lumps of lou on the outside as well :)  ry gave him or her some tickles while we were waiting for 'ironman' to start yesterday, and lou kicked right back.  ironman was great btw.  go see it in the theatre if you haven't already.  

fireworks have ben banned throughout much of california this year b/c of all the fires, so we will have to wait for next july 4th.  hope everyone had an awesome canada day or has a great independence day- enjoy the bbq!
